These are my works during our Microsoft Excel Activity. I enjoyed making this work though it was difficult at first. This activity helped me to gain more knowledge about Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft Word Activities

These are my works during the given MS Word activity. I enjoyed making this activity especially in inserting some shapes that I don't know how to use. Though this activity is hard for me to do yet I had so much fun in doing this activity because I had inserted much effort to finish this one.

             Typing Master Pro is an activity wherein you it helps you to double up your typing speed. It is an activity where you can exercise your hands in typing for you to be able to to speed up your work. It will also helps us to lessen our time of use.During our activity I was enjoyed when I typed so fast and yet I was typing the wrong word.

Typing Test Actvity

 

This is the result of the Typing Test Activity that we had in our ICT class. The activity was fun yet I was tense when we started our activity. As I saw the result of the activity I felt sad because I am not satisfied with it. The activity we had was one of the things we should do for us to become computer literate.

Social Networking

Our group was assigned to report about social networking. When we say social networking it was originally coined to distinguish between networks that were used for business purposes and those that were used for socializing. The term has been extended to include interactive websites with message boards, chat rooms or the ability to leave comments and have a discussion with other people. Examples of websites that are primarily used for socializing include Facebook and MySpace.

Social Networking nowadays plays a vital role when we talk about communication, jobs and other aspects that may associate to social networking sites. It may be a means of communication like connecting to facebook, twitter and others. In terms of seeking for job, social networking may also help us in finding for the job that you want to. There you can also do online job as long as you know how to manage it.

When we had our reporting, we discussed about the the functions of social networking. We also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of having this social networking sites. In using social networking sites, we must be careful in doing such things for us to avoid trouble. We discussed the precautionary measures during our reporting to inform others what they will be going to do to be aware of what will happen in using social networking sites.

What are the principal ethical concerns I should be conscious of in the use of Information Technology?

            Information Technology has a great impact in the society. It brings us changes wherein we can manipulate things easily.
             If you are going to post an article in some sites, make sure that the information that you are going to post is not plagiarize. However, if you are going to “copy and then paste” the information that came from other sites make sure that you will cite the references of it. You must also avoid in bullying others that may cause your account to be hacked. We have to be aware in the things that may happen for us to avoid such crimes using the Information Technology.
There are some principal ethical concerns that you should be aware as a user of Information Technology. First you must be careful with your words especially in making comments in the field of social networking sites. You must be aware of the word “PLAGIARISM”.
Those are just some of the principal ethical issues in IT. Always remember that we must be responsible in the proper use of computer and be open-minded to avoid those things that may get us into trouble.
